Perhaps it's the chick side showing, but I'd much rather just enjoy the games and leave the politics err.. the draft, alone. I can't wait for the first game, September 11, 2005! :) I have high hopes for the season - but I'm an optimist, I have high hopes at the start of every season!LoraLoohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06250173105971467371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699569.post-1114381485793337472005-04-24T15:24:00.000-07:002005-04-24T15:24:00.000-07:00Ok, of course I posted this before the bigger surp...Ok, of course I posted this before the bigger surprise. I really am shocked that someone (Denver) grabbed Clarett as high as the 3rd round. I had secretly hoped that he would go undrafted after walking away from the Combine following a bad 40-yard dash.

I think the 49ers filled in a lot of great areas and Nolan did exactly as he said he would... take each pick to make the other one look better. I don't know if I'm disappointed in the cornerbacks that Oakland took early on but I do know it was a need. I was expecting them to address the pass rush and linebackers early but they must have that trade of Woodson for Howard still on the table or faith in Derrick Burgess.Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02770200801562699724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8699569.post-1114324554398041752005-04-23T23:35:00.000-07:002005-04-23T23:35:00.000-07:00Actually I think the surprise of the draft was see...Actually I think the surprise of the draft was seeing Aaron Rodgers falling all the way to 24 with Green Bay.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11492413587506899012noreply@blogger.com
