Anyhow, I also got tagged by Well Woman and Davydgrey for what looks to be the same offence so I'm paying my fine here:
5 Weird Things About Myself
- For the longest time, I believed that I really could fly... well float. I don't know when this ended but I don't disbelieve that I ever did.
- I can direct my dreams by telling myself what I want to dream about beforehand.
- I'm an over-organizer and a packrat. My pantry is set for me to live a good 4 months. I have all the boxes from my major expensive electronic items with the idea that I can return them if I need to. My CDs are not only in alphabetical order but they are separated by 80's and non-80's with another section for greatest hits collections.
- As a child, my bedtime prayers always included one for strength and I believe they were granted, for which I'm thankful.
- I sleep coffin-style and without a pillow. I get headaches when I use a pillow.
Coffin style? I assume that means you lie flat on your back with your hands crossed over your chest and don't move all night. Weird. I'd creep out if I was sleeping next to you (no offense - this does not mean I would not want to be caught under the mistletoe with you!)
ReplyDeleteI was actually stopping by to say Merry Christmas to one of my most admired bloggers! You ROCK, literally. I look forward to your posts, your comments and your newsletter! Keep it coming! You have talent and taste galore and I love it!
Thank for for sharing that you alphabatize and organize your CDs - I do the same. My categories are Rock, mellow rock, non-rock and Christian.
Then there is a seperate place for me "collections" which means I have EVERY SINGLE THING ever recorded by that band:
U2, Bruce, Zeppelin, Van Halen (prior to Sammy), The Doors, The Stones (I may be missing a few) and INXS (the real band).
Merry Christmas!!!
I love the way you've separated your CD's. Why didn't I think of that?
ReplyDeleteHave a very Merry Christmas and a great holiday weekend.
Ever have those dreams where you can fly, and during your dream you consciously try to remember how you're doing it so can do it when you wake up? Man that drives me crazy! And it's probably the number one reason why I learned to scuba dive.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, Martin! :o)
That must take a lot of work, being an organized packrat. :)
ReplyDeleteI tried organizing my CD's by category but got really annoyed with the whole process. So instead, they're just straight alphabetized. That way I don't have to overthink it when I'm looking for a particular CD.
Merry Christmas to you, Martin.
Merry Christmas Martin, Feliz Navidad. I knew all of them except for the flying/floating thing. Us lucid dreamers rock!
ReplyDeleteYup--I over-organize my CDs, too, although my 900 or so probably don't hold a candle to your collection.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!

I try to organize by group name but they all eventually get arraigned by amount of listening time..dont ask why..i dont know..they just do.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a good holiday weekend :)
Coffin style, my ex used to do that! But, he used a pillow. It drove me nuts. Then, eventually I liked that quirk about him.
ReplyDeleteHow many CD's do you have? I keep mine in order of genre. Or try to. Genre's blow.
Hope you had a good Christmas.
ReplyDeleteAnd...you are not weird for alphabetizing your CDs. I can't imagine NOT doing it. Anyone who has more than 100 really should.
Lloyd does the whole lucid dreaming thing as well. I wish I could, any idea how it is done?
ReplyDeleteYes, I have seen your pantry.. how many bags of licorice do you have? hahahahah
