Rock Star: Martin's Closet: Season Finale

As promised, the season finale. It has been a long road for these threads. I'd like to thank each and every one of you for your votes as they have helped clean out Martin's closet for clothes that will actually be worn. Many have been discarded (and one used to help paint inside the house.) The only fair way to decide which one stays is to see each of them in action. So, consider the finals as our bathing suit competition (...ewww.)

Contestant 1: One of our only short-sleeved competitors, this contestant has held on. The stress of the voting must have been pretty tough on it as it has now lost a button. Winning, may mean having it replaced (as one has been found for the spot.)

Contestant 4: I did expect this one would do well in this competition. It could be the simple off-white color (or lack of according to some) but it does little to offend the eye. If you zoom in, you will notice the little emblem and a some plaid that runs along the button-up area (that would be hardly noticeable when entirely buttoned.)

Contestant 5: I will admit that I never expected this one to make it this far. It could be the checkerboard pattern. I've actually discovered during this that it looks quite different from afar than up close. A good ironing is waiting for this one if it wins.

Their fates are in your hands and they await your verdict.
"There can be only one" -- who stays?

It's a toss up between 2 and 3, but I have to go with 2. All three looked better on you than they did lying empty on the bed.

I have to agree, it's tougher when seeing them on you. #4 definitely fits you well... If #1 isn't tucked in (and it doesn't look like it is), that's my vote - it's too short for your nice frame.

This is DEFINITELY tougher during the "swim suit" contest. I'd have to say contestant #5 is out. It seems to busy with the small checkerboard pattern. Okay, that's my 25 cents worth. Good luck to all contestants!

I'm voting #5 out of the closet. #1 was a close second but I can't help but picture #5 stuffed full of Fall leaves.

I vote for #2. It reminds me of this guy I knew in high school who I had the biggest crush on. We were friends until he found out I had the hots for him. Ahh, rejection. But I saw him about 6 years ago and he looked like he gained about 100 pounds, so I guess that's some kind of karma.

Anyway, that's a long winded way of saying "get rid of the shirt."

I'm voting for number 5. The pattern made me a little nausceous.

Er, I guess #2 is actually #4. Whatever...the white one!

Uh oh. I probably need to restate this. You are voting which one stays in the closet. The other two go bye-bye.

Ah. Ok, then keep #1, chuck #4 and #5.

Okay - then I say #1 and #5 go.

The plain white one is the only decent one in the bunch. But even that one's a bit dated. That said ...

Wear whatever you want!

Oops! Sorry. Keep #1. It looks great alone, but would also look good half buttoned and a t-shirt under.

Are you kidding??? I say, keep all three and throw out the bedroom!

It's obvious that you like #4, because it's impossible to see what you look like in #5 & #1...

But I don't blame you! I have one just like #4 that I wear as jammies... And it is soooo Cozy :o)

I would keep #1 then.

Contestant #4 which is #2.

I think we have a majority of 5 votes for contestant 4. Contestant 1 was close but no one wanted contestant 5. So, they are gone... out of here. Fixing the missing button on #1 might have been a bit more work than it was worth.

I don't want anyone thinking that I pulled a Lucas Rossi on this series (cough, RT, cough) and purposely took a better photo of contestant 4 in the finale (nothing seedy happened behind the scenes.) I wasn't using a flash in the room and took only one photo each. It looks like the angle was better or that the white absorbed more of the lighting in the room. (Yes, the room needs cleaning.)

Thank you again and I'm pretty sure the white shirt thanks you.

Yay for the white shirt!
