The Place All The Good Shoes Go

It's been bothering me for awhile now. I'm not Mr. Rodgers. I don't change my shoes depending on what I'm going to do next. Since moving into my house I decided that I'd try not to wear shoes in my house. It works about 90% of the time. But to keep it all organized, I put them near the door. It never looks good to see 4 pairs of shoes fighting it out for the title King Of The Mountain. So, today I finally had it and added that to my shopping list today. I found an interesting little wicker basket (lined with cloth on the inside) for about $25. Kinda fits in with my need for earthtones in the living room. That's it there next to my entertainment center. I'm pretty proud that the room doesn't look like trash anymore. Now to clean up all those wires there next to the entertainment center.Posted by Hello

Great idea! Only, if I did that, it'd be all hell. After a few pairs are all piled up, I'll finally take them to my room to pile them up.

I have roughly 40 pairs of shoes, I'd need a bigger wicker basket.

Damn girls.

Just wait for the used shoe smell to start permeating the room Mart. Nice basket though.

As soon as I walk in my apt. I take off my shoes, for no other reason than I am more comfortable that way.

The basket is a good idea, but how long do you think you will use it for it's intended purpose before your shoes end up next to and on top of it rather than in it? =)

I hate wearing shoes, I take them off as soon as I walk in the door. We had the same problem, tons of shoes just sitting there in the entry way until I went to Target and bought a shoe organizer that I put in the front closet (along with a Lysol plug in air sanitizer). The basket looks good.
